I can’t tell you how excited I was when The National Wedding Show asked me to return to capture their show again this year. I just love seeing the creative displays and latest wedding trends come to life and of course there’s the wedding dresses! The showstopper supplier for me was absolutely the beautiful Ted Baker stand complete with crystal chandelier, the prettiest fitting room area, blush pink velvet chairs, pink carpet and a wall filled with silk flowers! Yes, it was magical – and so were the wedding dresses!
Known as the Tie the Knot Collection, Ted Baker created wedding dresses to suit various fashion forward brides-to-be. For the elegant bride who would still like to make a statement, the pleated Gelda gown with hand sewn petal shaped crystals covering the top – is just amazing! How the fabric pleats of the skirt hand is just perfect and little else is needed to complete this look for your wedding day.
The modern bride will love the Delilly gown which is a chic column dress with waterfall bow back and this definitely is a nod to the sleek Megan Markle style. An understated bun and statement earrings will finish this look beautifully. I’d recommend looking at BHLDN and J.Crew for statement earrings for your wedding day.
Romantic brides will adore the Silvya gown with it’s magical skirt covered in embroidery of blossoms, with hints of gold throughout. The tulle embroidered skirt is dramatic against it’s simple silk top and I’d love to see how this looks on styled with a loose curls and pearl earrings.
