Flutter Magazine has long been a publication I’ve coveted, and followed for both weddings and lifestyle inspirations. I adore the photographers who regularly work with Flutter, and I’m a little obsessed with the lifestyle editor Kelly Oshiro and her styling company Santa Barbara Chic. Her work completely makes my heart sing, or in this case flutter!
A huge part of Flutter I’ve followed is the blog, Hearts Aflutter.
Hearts Aflutter features shoots seen in recent editions of Flutter Mag but it also includes wonderful features which really sing to me – both as an artist, and as a person who loves gatherings and dinners, the outdoors and the dream of living a beautiful life filled with good times.
I really wanted a copy of the magazine in print to absorb the photography and artistry of the work I’ve admired for a long time – as it is intended to be seen, in print. But, also see how it is laid out, how they tell the story of each shoot, the details they show – it’s of course stunning to look at but it’s also an important part of my job – the art of seeing and storytelling.
This is indeed a beautiful publication, the content is stylish and for me it has an edge over the usual wedding magazines you can buy at any store. I would highly recommend Flutter Magazine, both the blog and/or printed publication to Brides and couples looking for inspirations for their wedding day!
